The MARS (Mini Anchor Rear Support) is a must have product for any shooter who likes to use a tripod as a rear support. The MARS rest gives the shooter a 4 inch platform to build a quick, rock solid shooting position on.
Anyone who has used the tripod as a rear support knows that getting the leg placed exactly right, is one of the biggest issues you face when using the tripod. The MARS has a 4 inch rear shelf, that eats up this placement error and allows you to quickly build a position, without having to waste time making slight adjustments to the tripod.
The MARS rest quickly and easily slides up and down your tripod leg. When you move the MARS rest it stays parallel to the ground giving you the ability to also traverse right and left to easily engage targets. You can also manipulate the MARS rest to pivot around your tripod leg to help you adjust and build your position as well transition to other targets.
Sizing for your tripod
To ensure you get the proper size. You need to determine the size of your widest tripod leg. We recommend you round up to the next closest size. Having it fit snug is better than loose. In addition you MARS rest works well on your next smallest leg which on average is about 4mm smaller than your largest leg. Fit will be obviously looser but still usable. Its Recommended that you buy the correct size for each leg in order to have a rock solid fit.
